The function and performance characteristics of the searchlight

First, what is the principle of the portable light glare searchlight?
According to the optical properties of the parabolic reflector, the light emitted by the point source placed at the parabolic focus forms a parallel beam parallel to the parabolic optical axis after parabolic reflection. In fact, all light sources have a certain volume. However, since the high-power searchlight reflector has a large aperture and a diameter of approximately 1 m or more, the relative amount of reflected light caused by the volume of the light source is small, and the luminous flux emitted by the searchlight is concentrated in a small solid angle. According to the basic concept of photometry, a certain amount of luminous flux is concentrated in a small solid angle, which inevitably produces a great luminous intensity. The axial intensity of a large searchlight reaches hundreds of millions of candelas and the projection distance can reach 200km. This is how the searchlight can illuminate long-range targets.

Second, the role and performance characteristics of the searchlight
1. Flexible and light: rotary switch glare, working light can be arbitrarily converted.
2. Waterproof and anti-fall: The structure is optimized by design. The material is made of imported bullet-proof rubber material to ensure that the product can work under water for 50 meters, and the drop resistance reaches 1 meter high and falls without damage.
3. Efficient and energy-saving: the light source adopts Germany Osram, or imported HID bulb, high luminous efficiency, long life, strong anti-vibration, soft light collection, battery with special super-capacity battery pack, no memory, long cycle life, intelligent over-discharge protection Short-circuit protection, environmental protection, no pollution, LED light source at the tail.
4. Intelligent charging: The charger adopts chip control charging, high reliability, overcharge protection, short circuit protection, trickle charge and charging status indication.
Third, the searchlight structure and function
A searchlight consists of a light source and a reflector, which typically also contains one or more optical lenses in its front section. The light is first collected by a reflector (curved or spherical mirror), then controlled by the difference in position and combination of the optical lenses, and finally projected.
Searchlights are mainly used in vehicles, film shooting, theaters, and lighting for buildings or exhibitions.
Searchlights generally use tungsten halogen lamps as the light source, as well as ultra-high pressure mercury lamps, metal halide lamps and ultra-high voltage xenon lamps.

Fourth, the type of searchlight
Ordinary searchlights – a simple box with a light source (often a halogen rod) and a reflector (often a spherical mirror).
Mirrored searchlight – The distance between the light source and the lens placed in front of the curved mirror is adjustable.
Lens-type searchlights – The light source is placed in front of the spherical mirror, and the lens is placed in front of the light source (the inner flat convex), so it is also called the convex lens type searchlight (abbreviated as PC).
Modern searchlights are mainly used for ship navigation (such as marine searchlights) and signal signs. With the shortening of the illumination distance, the searchlights have also evolved to medium and small. The medium and small searchlights generally use a tungsten halogen lamp as the light source. The filament has a high brightness, a small light-emitting volume and is close to the point source, and can be instantaneously extinguished, but the light source has a short life. There are also ultra-high pressure mercury lamps, metal halide lamps and ultra-high voltage xenon lamps, which have higher arc brightness and smaller illuminators. The starting characteristics are related to the performance of the light source and the trigger.
